World Health Organization issues warning! Deadly virus at the door: kills 1 in every 6 people

The disease, which causes the death of 1 in every 6 people it infects, surpassed Covid-19 in terms of spread rate in 2023.

WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated, "It is a scandal that this disease still kills so many people today."

Tuberculosis, known as "consumption" in the Victorian era, shows symptoms similar to a cold or flu in its early stages.

HOW DOES TUBERCULOSIS SPREAD?

It has been stated that the disease spreads through the coughs and sneezes of infected individuals.

However, some studies have found that infected individuals can passively spread the virus just by breathing, even if they show no symptoms at all.
