World rankings announced: Bad news for Turkey from FIFA

As the UEFA Euro 2024 European Football Championship continues, the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has announced its world rankings.

The Turkish National Football Team, which started EURO 2024 with a victory, has dropped in the FIFA rankings.

Turkey finished its 2 friendly matches played before the 2024 European Football Championship with one draw and one defeat.

Following these results, the National Team dropped 2 spots to 1,493 points.

Turkey ranked 42nd in the FIFA world rankings.

While Portugal, one of the national team's opponents in Group F of EURO 2024, remained in 6th place, Czechia rose 2 spots to 34th, and Georgia climbed 1 spot to 74th.

The next FIFA world ranking will be announced on July 18, 2024.
