YKS statistics released: Only one in every 9 questions in basic mathematics was answered correctly

Following the announcement of the YKS results, Ersoy issued a written statement regarding the exam statistics.

The statement included the following expressions:

"In the 2024-TYT, the average number of correct answers for final-year secondary school students was 21.427 in the Turkish (40 questions) test.

The number of correct answers in the social sciences (20 questions) test is 9.001

The number of correct answers in the basic mathematics (40 questions) test is 7.955

The number of correct answers in the science (20 questions) test is 3,478.

The average number of correct answers in the AYT mathematics (40 questions) test is 5.547

The averages for the AYT science test; in the physics (14 questions) subtest, the number of correct answers is 2.247

The number of correct answers in the Chemistry (13 questions) subtest is 1,457

The number of correct answers in the Biology (13 questions) subtest is 2.324

The averages for the AYT Turkish Language and Literature-Social Sciences-1 test show that the average number of correct answers in the Turkish language and literature (24 questions) subtest was 5.935.

The number of correct answers in the History-1 (10 questions) subtest is 2,484

The number of correct answers in the Geography-1 (6 questions) subtest is 2.103

The average for the AYT social sciences-2 test in the history-2 (11 questions) subtest was 2.076 correct answers.

The average number of correct answers in the Geography-2 (11 questions) subtest is 2.416

The average number of correct answers in the philosophy group (12 questions) subtest is 1.964

In the (DKAB) Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge/additional philosophy group (6 questions) subtest, the average number of correct answers was 1.275
