Names and causes of death of the 12 babies taken from life by the 'Newborn Gang' revealed

The 'Newborn Gang', which caused the deaths of numerous babies and generated illicit profits by transferring newborns to private hospitals in Istanbul, has become the top agenda item in Turkey.

BABIES WERE KILLED IN 9 HOSPITALS IN ISTANBUL

While an indictment was prepared by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the scandal that shook Turkey, the licenses of 9 private hospitals in Istanbul were revoked as part of the investigation.

The hospitals whose licenses were revoked, including the Private Avcılar Hospital owned by former Minister of Health Mehmet Müezzinoğlu, are as follows:

Private Avcılar Hospital, Private TRG Hospitalist Hospital, Private Birinci Hospital, Private Güney Hospital, Private Bağcılar Medilife Hospital, Private Beylikdüzü Medilife Hospital, Private Reyap Istanbul Hospital, Private Şafak Hospital Bağcılar, and Private Silivri Kolan Hospital

HOW THEY KILLED THE BABIES

According to the experts' report in the investigation file, as cited in Milliyet, it was revealed that gang members admitted babies to neonatal units without doctors, and that the babies were left to die through the malpractice of nurses posing as doctors, lack of feeding, and passive euthanasia; that is, by not providing treatment.
