Narin Güran murder trial begins tomorrow! Security measures taken ahead of the hearing
The first hearing of the trial regarding the murder of Narin Güran, who went missing in Diyarbakır on August 21 and whose body was found on September 8, is set to begin. Extensive security measures have been implemented around the courthouse, with barriers installed ahead of the hearing.
The investigation conducted by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the murder of Narin Güran, who went missing on August 21 in the Tavşantepe neighborhood of Diyarbakır's Bağlar district and whose body was found in the Eğertutmaz Stream on September 8, has been completed for the suspects: her mother Yüksel, brother Enes, uncle Salim Güran, and neighbor Nevzat Bahtiyar.
The trial, in which the 4 detained suspects will be tried for "intentional killing of a child in complicity," carrying a sentence of aggravated life imprisonment, begins tomorrow at the Diyarbakır 8th High Criminal Court.
