Sexual assault evidence emerges in investigation of 6-year-old Şirin Elmas Hanilçi: Her body was found in a cemetery!
Evidence of sexual assault has been identified in the investigation into 6-year-old Şirin Elmas Hanilçi, whose lifeless body was found in a cemetery in Şişli at night.
The family of 6-year-old Şirin Elmas Hanilçi, who went missing in Şişli on Thursday, October 31, participated in a television program to request assistance.
Acting upon this, police teams launched an investigation by reviewing security cameras in the area.
Narrowing their search area following a tip-off, police teams conducted searches in and around the Feriköy Cemetery in Şişli.
LIFELESS BODY FOUND IN FERİKÖY CEMETERY
As a result of the efforts, Şirin Elmas Hanilçi's lifeless body was found in Feriköy Cemetery. Teams determined from security camera footage that Şirin had entered the cemetery with paper collector Mustafa Örün (49).
Taken into custody, Örün confessed in his statement to strangling Şirin to death. He was arrested at the courthouse after being referred there following his processing at the police station.
Examinations conducted within the scope of the investigation determined that the young girl had been subjected to sexual abuse.
