Some roads in Istanbul to be closed to traffic ahead of Galatasaray-Beşiktaş derby

Some roads in Istanbul will be closed to traffic due to the Galatasaray-Beşiktaş derby.

The Istanbul Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate has issued a statement regarding the roads that will be closed to traffic and the routes that will be heavily used by fans due to the "Galatasaray-Beşiktaş 2024 Turkcell Süper Cup" match at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium.

According to the statement, the roads to be closed tomorrow are as follows: "The TEM north side road 900-meter junction and the 900-meter road, the TEM north side road İSKİ Treatment Facilities Road junction and the İSKİ Treatment Facilities Road, the junction of Tuna Street and 13th Street, the area in front of the Istanbul Olympic Metro Station and the metro overpass, the Olympic Stadium Road metro station turnoff, the P23 parking lot turnoff, the tunnel entrance turnoff, the P5-P6-P7-P8-P9-P10 parking lot turnoffs and the 900-meter road end turnoffs, and the connection junction from the Olympic Stadium road to the end of the 900-meter road,

The connection road to the Olympic Stadium from the end of the 900-meter road, the Olympic Stadium road P20–P21 parking exits, the Olympic Stadium road P24 parking exits, Başakşehir Ziya Gökalp Neighborhood 401st Street, 2745th Street, 2746th Street, the Başakşehir Bridge next to the stadium, the TEM-(E80) north side road (between Masko and Bayramtepe Bridge), and the Olympic Stadium road between the TEM-(E80) north side road and the Nidapark Site.

Galatasaray fans will reach the stadium using the TEM and Basın Ekspres, and the TEM North Side Road, while Beşiktaş fans will use the Northern Marmara Motorway, Eski Edirne Asphalt, Rıfat Ilgaz Street, and the Olympic Stadium road.

Taxis will use the TEM and TEM North Side Road routes for Galatasaray fans, and the Northern Marmara Motorway, Eski Edirne Asphalt, Rıfat Ilgaz Street, and the Olympic Stadium road routes for Beşiktaş fans.
