Testimony of Hasan Uzuner, father of İkbal Uzuner who was murdered by Semih Çelik, emerges: Suspicion of a second man!

The statements of Hasan Uzuner, the father of İkbal Uzuner, who was murdered by Semih Çelik in the Fatih district of Istanbul, have emerged.

In his statement to the police, the father, Hasan Uzuner, noted the following:

"My daughter attended high school in Fatih. They met Semih Çelik at school."

Semih began bothering my daughter during the first half of her junior year of high school. After this continued for a long time, I changed my daughter's school.

My daughter was friends with Semih for a while, but her mental health deteriorated due to the distress she experienced.

I sent her to a psychologist. My daughter asked me for a cat, so I got her a cat. Her mental state improved while she was taking care of the cat.

He had been doing very well for the last year and a half; his mental state had improved. His relationship with us was good. We felt even more relieved after Semih Çelik's mother called us and said, 'My son has a new girlfriend and they are very happy; he will no longer bother your daughter.'

My daughter had not been in any form of contact with Semih for 1.5 years.

On the day of the incident, my wife called our daughter, but a man answered the phone. He said, 'Don't worry, your daughter is in safe hands.' When my wife called our daughter again, a different man answered this time and said that the phone had fallen down from the city walls.

He described the location to my wife and said you can come and pick up the phone. Upon that, I called my daughter. The man who answered the phone told me that he would only hand the phone over to her mother.

I had taken my father to the hospital. After dropping him off, my spouse and I went to retrieve my daughter's phone. A homeless person had found the phone and said it had fallen from the city walls. We wanted to go up to see if our daughter might be on top of the walls, but we couldn't because there were fences.

"After we went down, we saw a large group of people looking at the walls. As we walked toward them, thinking perhaps our daughter was in the crowd, I saw my daughter's head."
