When and where is the funeral for Osman Sınav?

Osman Sınav, the 69-year-old director of series such as Kurtlar Vadisi, Ekmek Teknesi, and Deli Yürek, passed away on Thursday, March 20.

Born in Burdur in 1958, he studied painting, textile design, and film-TV at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts.

He began his career in the advertising sector: Starting his career in the advertising industry in 1984, Osman Sınav directed more than 500 commercials throughout his life. Stepping into cinema in 1987, Osman Sınav directed films including Gerilla, Deli Yürek Bumerang Cehennemi, Pars Kiraz Operasyonu, Uzun Hikaye, and Aşk Kırmızı.

Known for his TV series: Osman Sınav became known to wide audiences through his television series. The series Deli Yürek and Kurtlar Vadisi were the productions that brought Osman Sınav the most recognition. In addition to these, he also directed productions such as Süper Baba, Ekmek Teknesi, and Acı Hayat.

Funeral ceremony on Saturday: Details regarding Osman Sınav's funeral ceremony have begun to emerge. A ceremony will be held at the Atatürk Cultural Center at 11:00 AM. Sınav's funeral prayer will be held on Saturday, March 22, following the afternoon prayer (ikindi) at the Marmara University Faculty of Theology Mosque. He will be laid to rest at Karacaahmet Cemetery.
