• After cleaning your strawberries thoroughly, dry them and place them in a pot.
• Pour the granulated sugar over them.
• Cover the pot and let it sit this way for at least 8 hours, or overnight if you have the time.
• Once the waiting period is over, the sugar will have completely dissolved and the strawberries will have released their juice.
• If they haven't released enough juice, you can add an extra tea glass of water.
• Place the pot on the stove and let it come to a boil, stirring gently.
• Once it starts to boil, turn the heat down and cook for about 30–35 minutes.
• If any foam forms, use your spoon to remove and discard it.
• Add the lemon juice as the boiling time comes to an end.
• After keeping it on the stove for 2 more minutes, turn off the heat.
• Fill into clean jars and turn the jars upside down.
• Once your jars have cooled down completely, your strawberry jam is ready!
