The Family Physicians Employees Union (AHESEN) has announced that they will hold a one-day strike on March 14, Medicine Day. Family physicians, who stated that they do not accept the new regulation, had previously held a strike action.

Stating that they do not accept the new regulation, AHESEN announced that they have decided to strike on Friday, March 14, Medicine Day. In the statement made, it was said, "We do not accept the new regulations or desk-based arrangements, and we continue our struggle. Together, we are striking on March 14, Medicine Day, for our professional dignity and for public health."

The new "Family Medicine Payment and Contract Regulation" implemented by the Ministry of Health has drawn the reaction of family physicians.
