French cheese producer Fromagerie Jean Perrin has initiated a large-scale recall process after E. coli bacteria were detected in some of its cheese varieties. The E. coli bacterium can cause symptoms such as fever, diarrhea, and bloody stools after consumption. Experts have advised caution regarding this bacterium, which can cause serious health problems such as kidney failure, especially in children.

LIST OF RECALLED PRODUCTS

Among the recalled cheeses, Morbier and Raclette varieties stand out. Here are some of the recalled products:

  • Morbier Varieties: Morbier Jean Perrin AOP, Morbier Tradition Emotion 180g, Morbier AOP 125g
  • Raclette Varieties: Raclette-Teller Bünderfleisch, Raclette-Teller Rohmilch 540g, Raclette-Teller N/Pf/Se 540g
  • Other Risky Cheeses: Assiette nature Morbier moutarde

Additionally, some cheese platter products are also at risk. These products include cheeses such as Käseplatte Europa and Käseplatte Plateau Saison.

Consumers are advised to return these products to the stores where they were purchased. The products can be returned even without a receipt.
