'Confirmed Appointment' period begins in hospitals: How to book a hospital appointment?

With the "Confirmed Appointment" system implemented by the Ministry of Health, patients will confirm their appointments or notify the Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS) that they will not be able to attend by 8:00 PM on the day before the appointment date.

Patients will first create an appointment at health institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Health via the MHRS website, mobile application, or the "ALO 182" call center.

With the new practice, patients will be required to confirm their appointment or notify the system that they cannot attend by 8:00 PM on the day before the appointment date.

Appointments that are not acted upon will be automatically canceled at 8:00 PM the day before. In this case, the person will be able to book a new appointment, and no restrictions will be applied.

However, individuals who confirm their appointment but do not show up will be restricted from booking a new appointment in the same specialty for 15 days.

Patients over the age of 65 and cancer patients will be exempt from the practice; patients in these groups will be able to book appointments at any time.

In the Confirmed Appointment System, after appointments are canceled, patients who could not book an appointment through the system but have left a request will be contacted for the remaining capacity, and priority will be given to patients who have submitted a request.
