The Kayseri Consumers Union has filed a criminal complaint against Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ceyhan, who served on the scientific board established for COVID-19 and is also the President of the Infectious Diseases Association.
According to the report by Anadolu Agency, Kayseri Consumers Union Chairman Mahmut Şahin stated in a press release outside the courthouse that certain experts were creating fear regarding the Mpox virus during television programs.
Claiming that Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ceyhan was inciting fear among the public, Şahin made the following remarks:
"Mehmet Ceyhan made a statement the other day and said, 'Eventually, the monkeypox vaccine will be administered.' Why? Because they have set their minds to it. They are going to administer the vaccine, which is why they are declaring a pandemic. The nation has seen these facts. We have filed a criminal complaint against this person for inciting fear and panic among the public with misleading information. This matter is not a simple issue. This nation will never be a tool for the agenda of globalists."
Şahin stated that Ceyhan's remarks created unnecessary fear in society and that this was unacceptable, which is why they have turned to the judiciary.
