Effective methods for coping with stress

Expert Clinical Psychologist Gökçe stated that taking time for oneself is very important as a first step, saying, "Taking short breaks at regular intervals, paying attention to sleep patterns, and eating healthy will help you renew your energy. Additionally, engaging in regular physical activity, which is an effective way to combat stress, is also recommended. Exercising a few times a week increases general vitality and reduces the effects of stress."

Pointing out that time management skills are also very important for coping with stress, Gökçe said, "Prioritizing tasks, working in a planned manner, and setting realistic goals can lighten your workload.

In this way, you become more organized and complete your tasks more efficiently. Spending time with family and friends provides emotional support and reduces stress.

Social interactions can be an important source of support for coping with stress," she said.

"SETTING BOUNDARIES REDUCES WORK STRESS"

Stating that maintaining a balance between work and private life is also important to prevent burnout syndrome, Buse Gökçe said, "Setting your working hours and making time outside of work allows you to dedicate time to yourself and your hobbies. Setting boundaries reduces work stress and increases personal satisfaction."

Pointing out that burnout syndrome can be a serious condition and may require professional help, Gökçe said, "A counselor or therapist can help you develop more effective strategies for coping with stress. Seeking professional support is a step that prioritizes your health and well-being.

Remember, it is important to apply these strategies to your daily life to cope with stress and prevent burnout syndrome. Take time for yourself, engage in physical activity, improve your time management skills, strengthen your social connections, set boundaries, and seek professional help when necessary. By following these steps, you can lead a healthier and more balanced life," she stated.
