Family physicians to go on strike for the third time

Family Health Center (ASM) employees are preparing to add a new action to the work stoppages they have previously carried out.

WHEN WILL FAMILY PHYSICIANS STOP WORK?

With the demand for the cancellation of the Family Medicine Contract and Payment Regulation, ASM employees in 81 provinces across Turkey will stop work starting from Monday, January 6, until the end of the workday on Friday, January 10.

Not only primary healthcare workers but also secondary and tertiary healthcare personnel will support this five-day action. In this context, secondary and tertiary healthcare workers will carry out a one-day work stoppage on Wednesday, January 8.

PREVIOUS ACTIONS

Family physicians have previously organized work stoppage actions on various dates. Most recently, they held actions lasting three days from November 5-7 and five days between December 2-6.
