Free HPV vaccine from Silivri Municipality
Silivri Municipality has begun administering the third dose of the free HPV vaccine provided as part of its social municipal services.
Silivri Municipality has reached a new stage in its free HPV vaccination program, which it carries out in line with the principles of social municipalism. The third dose of the vaccine is now being administered as part of this service, which is offered to women aged 18-45 who receive support from the Solidarity Market (Birlikte Dayanışma Marketi). The final dose of this three-dose program is being carried out in accordance with the established vaccination schedule.
In this service, coordinated by the Silivri Municipality Health Affairs Directorate, an HPV Vaccination Card is provided to the vaccinated women to facilitate dose tracking. Following the first dose, the second dose is administered 2 months later, and the third dose is administered 6 months after the second. All these vaccines are provided free of charge by Silivri Municipality.
Municipal officials stated that such services will continue to increase with the aim of protecting public health. The statement included the following remarks: "We are taking precautions against cancer risk with the HPV vaccine so that women can have a healthy future. Under the leadership of our Mayor Bora Balcıoğlu, we continue our social support efforts without leaving anyone behind."
