Free HPV Vaccine from Üsküdar Municipality
Taking action against the rise in cancer cases caused by the HPV virus, Üsküdar Municipality has launched a free HPV vaccination program for women and children from families receiving social assistance. Applications will be accepted through the municipality's official website between September 6 and September 16.
In response to the increasing number of cancer cases caused by HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) in Turkey, Üsküdar Municipality has launched a new initiative to protect public health.
Within the scope of this program, which is aimed at families receiving social assistance, free HPV vaccines will be administered to girls and boys between the ages of 9 and 26, as well as to women with medical reports.
APPLICATIONS WILL BE MADE THROUGH THE MUNICIPALITY'S OFFICIAL WEBSITE
Applications will be accepted through the Üsküdar Municipality's official website between September 6 and September 16.
Following the evaluation of the applications, vaccination appointments will be scheduled by the Directorate of Health Affairs.
The vaccination program will begin on September 23 at the Zeynep Kamil Family Health Center located in Üsküdar Valide-i Atik. This initiative is considered an important step in the fight against the HPV virus, which poses a threat to public health.
