The Adana Medical Chamber, the Federation of Family Physicians Associations (AHEF), the Family Medicine Employees Union (AHESEN), the Federation of Family Health Workers, Midwives and Nurses Associations (ASEF), the Primary Care Health Workers Union and Solidarity Union, the Unity Health and Social Services Workers Union,
Genel Sağlık İş, the Physicians' Union (Hekim Birliği Sendikası), Hekim Sen, Hürriyetçi Sağlık Sen, the Association for Rights and Struggle for Health Workers (SAHADER), the Health Services Union (SAHİMSEN), the Health and Social Service Workers Union (SES), Tabip Sen, the All Radiology Technicians and Technologists Association (TÜMRAD-DER),
and the Adana Health Platform, consisting of the Turkish Medical Association (TTB) and the Turkish Association of Family Physicians (TAHUD), announced that they have made a joint decision for family physicians to stop working between December 2 and 6.
ARE FAMILY PHYSICIANS ON STRIKE TODAY?
Stating that family physicians had previously carried out a 3-day work stoppage across Turkey, Adana Health Platform Spokesperson and Adana Medical Chamber President Specialist Dr. Özden Polatöz said in a statement on behalf of the components, "This time, family medicine employees will stop working between December 2 and 6 for professional honor and public health against the 'Persecution Regulation'."
