SECOND STRIKE DECISION
Family medicine staff held a 3-day work stoppage across Turkey at the beginning of November due to the new "Family Medicine Payment and Contract Regulation" based on performance, which was prepared by the Ministry of Health.
Following this strike, another strike decision was made.
The Turkish Medical Association (TTB) announced that family physicians across the country would stop work for 5 days between December 2 and December 6, 2024.
In the statement made by the TTB, the following expressions were used: "For our professional dignity and public health; we announce to the Ministry of Health and the public that we will stop work for 5 days between December 2-6, 2024."
