Minister Koca makes a phone call following backlash against the healthcare system: 'Quite ambitious'

AKP member Şamil Tayyarissued a warning regarding the current healthcare system in a post on his social media account.

Tayyar stated, "In addition to the difficulty of getting an appointment for an examination, patients with serious illnesses such as cancer are now being given dates 6 months in advance for tomography, MRI, and colonoscopy scans. Let me warn you, prayers are starting to turn into curses." he said.

Later, in another post, Tayyar explained that Minister Koca had called him following his warning, using the following words:

First of all, I would like to thank him for the sensitivity he showed.

He is quite ambitious that the approved appointment system he announced today will reduce the problems experienced in hospital examination appointments by 96-97 percent.

He explained that they have also prepared a comprehensive program to bring forward the long-dated appointments for procedures such as tomography, MRI, and colonoscopy that I mentioned in my post.
