New statement regarding Haldun Dormen's health status
Notable statements have come from the family of legendary Turkish theater figure Haldun Dormen regarding his health status.
97-year-old theater artist Haldun Dormen was recently hospitalized and taken under treatment due to an infection. Dormen's condition worsened, and he was intubated on January 6; his treatment in the intensive care unit continues.
The artist's daughter-in-law, journalist Ayşe Arman, shared an update on Dormen's health status via her social media account, informing his fans of the latest developments. Arman stated that Haldun Dormen remains intubated.
Ayşe Arman included the following remarks in her emotional statement:
"It has been 3 weeks in the hospital... Ömer is holding his meetings from here. We come every day. We see him during visiting hours. We have become close with all the intensive care families. We have shared in their pain. Some have lost their loved ones. We cried with them."
"We are still waiting. Intubation continues. The situation is not very bright. He is stable with machines. Kidneys, heart, lungs are all connected to machines. I don't know what will happen now, we are waiting."
"May whatever is best for him happen. I don't really feel like posting much. I am only sharing things related to the agenda. I have no heart for anything. Like this..."
According to Arman's statement, although Haldun Dormen's condition is stable, his kidney, heart, and lung functions are being maintained via life support devices. The family has asked his fans to keep him in their thoughts and prayers.
