Teams conducting inspections in Hatay have detected chemical pesticide residues in 55 tons of lemons prepared for export.
As part of the efforts carried out by the Hatay Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, the chemical substance known as pesticide was detected in samples taken from 55 tons of lemons prepared for export.

ALL OF IT WAS DESTROYED
The tons of lemons in question were destroyed at a solid waste disposal facility under security measures.
The teams stated that the supply, export, and import of unsafe food will never be permitted.
