Regarding the claims that nearly a thousand patients were affected by the incident, the written statement issued by the Ministry of Health said: "Following concerns regarding the solution content in some sample containers at the Kayseri City Hospital Endoscopy and Pathology units, the supplier was contacted and the sample containers in question were replaced as a precaution.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED INTO THE INCIDENT
In addition, an inspector has been appointed to conduct the necessary examination and investigation process regarding the limited number of suspected sample containers," the statement read.
