The effects of nuts on brain and heart health! Three nuts provide significant positive contributions to the brain
While nuts are considered one of the keys to a healthy life, they draw attention with their positive effects on brain and heart health.
Nuts offer many health benefits thanks to the rich nutrients they contain. These foods, which have the potential to improve brain and cardiovascular health in particular, are rich in healthy fatty acids, antioxidants, and fiber. These nutrients play an important role in reducing the risk of memory loss and cardiovascular diseases.
A study published in the journal Clinical Nutrition found that regular nut consumption improves cerebrovascular functions in elderly individuals.

Participants in the study consumed 60 grams of cashews, walnuts, hazelnuts, and peanuts daily for 16 weeks, and at the end of this period, a significant improvement in cerebral blood flow and an increase in success in memory tests were observed. It was noted that blood flow increased particularly in the frontal lobe and prefrontal cortex.
CONTRIBUTIONS TO HEART HEALTH
Another study published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition has shown that consuming nuts, especially walnuts, at least once a week can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease by 13 to 19 percent. The same study revealed that the risk of coronary heart disease dropped by 15 to 23 percent, once again confirming the heart-protective effects of nuts.

Regular consumption of nuts provides a significant contribution to both supporting brain functions and protecting heart health. Therefore, it is recommended to consume nuts as part of a healthy diet.
