Vaccination schedule for children has changed! Six-in-one combination vaccine application begins! When will the new practice start?
The Ministry of Health has made changes to the childhood vaccination schedule, transitioning to a single vaccine application against 6 diseases.
SIX-COMPONENT COMBINATION VACCINE ERA BEGINS
The "six-component combination vaccine," which combines the Hepatitis B vaccine applied in Turkey since 1998 with the 5-component combination vaccine used since 2008, will be implemented as of April 14, 2025.
Thanks to the six-component combination vaccine application to be implemented by the Ministry of Health, immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), polio, Haemophilus influenzae type b, and Hepatitis B will be provided with a single injection.

VACCINES WILL BE ADMINISTERED FREE OF CHARGE
The 6-component combination vaccines procured by the Ministry of Health will be administered free of charge at all Family Health Centers and relevant healthcare institutions across Turkey.
The follow-up doses for children who began their vaccination schedule with the 5-component combination vaccine in the previous period will be completed with the 6-component combination vaccine. Apart from this, no additional vaccines will be required.
