Child who choked on candy saved by doctor's Heimlich maneuver
At Lokman Hekim Van Hospital, a 3-year-old child who choked on candy was saved by a doctor's Heimlich maneuver. The moment the child was brought back to life was captured second by second on security cameras.
In an incident that occurred at Lokman Hekim Van Hospital, a 3-year-old girl waiting in the hospital corridor with her mother choked on a piece of candy.
The mother and those nearby noticed the situation and tried to intervene. Realizing they could not dislodge the candy, the citizens immediately notified Pediatric Surgeon Assoc. Prof. Dr. Veli Avci.
Thanks to Dr. Avci's Heimlich maneuver, the child was brought back to life.
