A woman in Manisa went to the hospital due to a 'rustling' sensation in her ear. A live spider that had made a nest in her ear was discovered.
A citizen named Fatma Arık (72) in Manisa applied to the Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) clinic of a private hospital in Salihli with a complaint of a rustling sound in her ear.
A LIVE SPIDER CAME OUT OF HER EAR!
ENT Specialist Op. Dr. Mehmet Türkyılmaz examined 72-year-old Fatma Arık and discovered a live spider that had made a nest in her ear. Arık, who experienced the shock of her life at the hospital, had the spider removed alive by Op. Dr. Türkyılmaz.

RELEASED INTO ITS NATURAL HABITAT
ENT Specialist Op. Dr. Mehmet Türkyılmaz, who explained that they were shocked when they saw the live spider inside the ear while examining the patient who came to the hospital with a rustling complaint using a camera, said, “We removed the spider that had made a nest in the ear alive.” Stating that he had encountered similar cases before, Op. Dr. Türkyılmaz said that this was the first time they had encountered a live spider inside an ear. Op. Dr. Türkyılmaz added that the spider removed from the ear was released back into its natural habitat.
