Account manager arrested in beauty center investigation: Defense revealed

A new development has occurred in the investigation conducted in Istanbul's Bakırköy district regarding allegations that intimate images of women were obtained at a beauty center and sold via social media and messaging platforms. Abdullah Ç., who was detained as part of the investigation, was arrested by the duty magistrate and sent to prison.

According to information reflected in the file, the suspect was referred to the courthouse on allegations of being linked to the Telegram channel named "Secret TV +18" and certain X accounts where intimate images were allegedly shared. It was reported that in his defense before the magistrate, the suspect stated that the channels in question did not belong to him and that he was only involved in advertising activities.

It was learned that the suspect did not accept the accusations, stating that he had shared the names, surnames, and IBAN information regarding where the videos came from with the police, and claiming that individuals nicknamed "Pokevip" and "444 unlimited" had added him to the group for advertising purposes.

The research report prepared by the Cyber Crimes Combat teams and the court record contained different findings. Technical examinations assessed that the Telegram channels named "Secret TV +18" and "@gizliiadmi" were directly linked to the suspect, and that the X accounts named "Türk Paylaşım Merkezi" and "Hot Celebreties," where the images were allegedly marketed, were also used by Abdullah Ç.

The Bakırköy 2nd Criminal Judgeship of Peace issued the arrest warrant, taking into account that the examination of digital materials is ongoing and the possibility of evidence tampering. Abdullah Ç. faces charges of "Unlawfully Obtaining or Disseminating Personal Data," "Selling/Renting Obscene Publications," and "Disclosing Images and Sounds Related to Private Life."
