As part of the reopened investigation into the death of former MİT official Kaşif Kozinoğlu in prison, actor Sedat Savtak, who played the character Kazım Kaşifoğlu in the series "Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu," has given testimony as a person with knowledge.
Savtak, who arrived at the Silivri Courthouse, made a statement to members of the press upon leaving the courthouse following his procedures at the prosecutor's office. Savtak said, "I gave my testimony to our prosecutor. As an actor, I did what was required of me."

Stating that he did not know the character he played was linked to Kaşif Kozinoğlu, Savtak noted that actors do not receive detailed information about the progression and content of a role during the contract phase. Savtak expressed that characters are shaped in line with the development of the script and audience interest.
Savtak said, "We gave our best acting, just like the hundreds and thousands of other fellow actors who performed in Kurtlar Vadisi, with all my heart, all my life experience, and everything I have learned."
When asked if he had any observations regarding connections to FETÖ or any illegal structure, Savtak said he had no such observations. Savtak used the expressions, "Whatever was written in the script and however I needed to convey it, I evaluated it with my acting. Such information is not given to us either."
It was stated that within the scope of the investigation, some other actors who played roles in the series at that time were also called to testify as persons with knowledge.
