The prosecutor's opinion was announced in the case regarding corruption allegations against the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. The trial prosecutor requested the release of detained defendants Ümit Polat and Nilgün Cendek.

Along with Ümit Polat and Nilgün Cendek, a release decision was also issued for Tolga Hüküm, Fatih Temur, Melih Gecek, Aytekin Karasalan, and Adem Başer.

The signature requirements and house arrest decisions for the non-detained defendants were lifted. However, travel bans for some non-detained defendants remain in effect.

Following the decisions, there are 46 detained defendants remaining in the case, which has been adjourned until November 2.

İMAMOĞLU COMPLETED HIS DEFENSE

Ekrem İmamoğlu, who was arrested as part of the bribery and tender corruption investigation into the IMM and subsequently removed from his position as Mayor of the IMM, completed his defense, which lasted 4 days. İmamoğlu once again denied the allegations against him.
