Within the framework of a comprehensive investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Bureau of Investigation for Smuggling, Narcotics, and Economic Crimes, a new operation has been launched regarding allegations of establishing a criminal organization, loan sharking, and laundering assets derived from crime.

DETENTION AND SEIZURE WARRANT FOR 7 SUSPECTS

As part of the investigation, detention, search, and seizure warrants were issued for a total of 7 suspects, primarily businesspeople Sezgin Baran Korkmaz and Cihan Ekşioğlu. In a statement made by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was emphasized that the investigation in question is being carried out meticulously.

FIVE SUSPECTS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

As a result of the operation carried out in line with the decision, Cihan Ekşioğlu, Şaban Kayıkçı, Şaban Şendil, Melike Yüksel, and Sinan Görkem Gökçe were taken into custody. It was learned that search and seizure procedures are ongoing for the other suspects.
