A decision to arrest 10 people, including Damal Mayor Kemal Çamlıyurt, who were detained in a bribery operation conducted across 6 provinces centered in Ardahan, has been issued.
The police procedures for the suspects, who were detained as part of the investigation carried out by the Hanak Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, have been completed. The questioning of the 10 individuals, who were referred to the courthouse by teams from the Provincial Security Directorate's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch, has also been concluded at the prosecutor's office.
Independent Damal Mayor Kemal Çamlıyurt and 9 others were arrested by the judgeship before which they were brought.
As part of the investigation, simultaneous operations were carried out in 6 provinces centered in Ardahan on October 10, and 10 people, including Çamlıyurt, were detained.
