Call from Istanbul Bar Association President Filiz Saraç: Lawyers prepare for the Great Defense Rally

Lawyers are preparing for the "Great Defense March" they will hold in Ankara on Saturday, April 27.

The Istanbul Bar Association, one of the largest bar associations in the world with 63 thousand members, has invited all lawyers to the rally.

Bar Association President Atty. Filiz Saraç said in her message, "We will be in Ankara on April 27 for the Great Defense Rally organized by the Bar Associations and the Union of Turkish Bar Associations (TBB)."

INVITED TO ANKARA

Saraç stated the following:

"Dear colleagues, we have fought together for years for the defense rights of our citizens. We said 'rule of law,' we said 'supremacy of law,' and we have always been the guarantee of a fair trial everywhere. While we defend the right to defense and fight for our citizens, we must also voice our own problems in order to be a strong defense. That is why we will be in Ankara on Saturday, April 27, as lawyers of the Istanbul Bar Association, together with our colleagues coming from all corners of our country."
