Case filed against 51 children in 'Casperlar' investigation
An indictment has been prepared for 17 different crimes against 51 child suspects, 30 of whom are in custody, as part of an investigation into the criminal organization's youth wing.
The investigation into the youth wing of the criminal organization known as the "Casperlar" in Istanbul has been completed. The Bakırköy Juvenile High Criminal Court has accepted the indictment prepared against 51 child suspects.
Within the scope of the investigation, it was determined that the suspects were involved in 22 separate incidents. It was stated that 30 of the 51 child suspects in the file are currently in custody.
It is alleged that the organization, led by İsmail Atız, operated primarily in the Bahçelievler, Küçükçekmece, and Bağcılar districts and was involved in crimes such as robbery, intentional injury, threats, drug trafficking, prostitution, and deprivation of liberty.
The prepared indictment levels a total of 17 different charges against the child suspects, including "membership in an organization established for the purpose of committing crimes," "making propaganda for the organization or its objectives," "intentionally endangering general security," "damage to property," "attempted intentional homicide," and "purchasing, carrying, or possessing unlicensed firearms and ammunition."
