CMB blocks 20 websites for unauthorized leveraged trading
The Capital Markets Board (CMB) has decided to block access to 20 websites that were facilitating unauthorized overseas leveraged trading in Turkey.
The Capital Markets Board (CMB) announced in its bulletin dated July 28, 2025, that it has initiated legal proceedings to block access to 20 websites identified as facilitating unauthorized overseas leveraged trading for residents in Turkey.
This decision was taken in accordance with the fourth paragraph of Article 99 of the Capital Markets Law.
This decision by the CMB is considered a significant step against websites that victimize investors by conducting unauthorized financial transactions over the internet.
The list of websites subject to the access block was detailed in the CMB's bulletin.
The closure of these sites stands out as an important measure taken to protect investors and ensure market order.
