Criminal complaint filed against Mücahit Birinci
The Atatürkist Thought Association has filed a criminal complaint against AK Party MKYK member Mücahit Birinci, accusing him of inciting the public to hatred and hostility.
The Atatürkist Thought Association (ADD) has filed a criminal complaint with the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against Mücahit Birinci, a member of the AK Party Central Decision and Executive Board, due to a post he made on social media.
Birinci's post, which stated, "Someone is threatening to release street dogs onto the streets," drew public backlash.
In its statement, the ADD asserted that Mücahit Birinci's post incited the public to hatred and hostility, emphasizing that this situation was contrary to reason and decency.
The association announced to the public that they have requested the necessary investigation be conducted into Birinci and that a public lawsuit be filed.
