Decision reached regarding Ayşe Barım's detention
The detention status of talent manager Ayşe Barım, who is being tried in connection with the Gezi Park protests, has been reviewed, and the court has ruled for its continuation.
Talent manager Ayşe Barım, who is being tried on allegations of encouraging artists to participate in protests during the Gezi Park resistance, faces charges of "aiding in the attempt to overthrow the Government of the Republic of Turkey."
Due to these charges, Barım is being tried with a requested prison sentence ranging from 22 years and 6 months to 30 years.
The Istanbul 26th High Criminal Court evaluated Barım's detention status and decided that her detention should continue. The court reached this decision following a review of the case file.

The next hearing of the case will be held on October 1 at 10:00 AM at the Istanbul 26th High Criminal Court. During this hearing, Barım's defense and other details regarding the trial process will be addressed.
