Drug operation at Ezel Akay’s home... New footage from the house has emerged

A drug operation was conducted by gendarmerie teams at the home of director Ezel Akay and his musician brother Eren Kazım Akay, located in the Rüştiye neighborhood of Bursa's İnegöl district.

It was stated that during the operation, carried out by the Narcotics teams of the Bursa Provincial Gendarmerie Command under the coordination of the Public Prosecutor's Office, equipment for cultivating cannabis and narcotic substances were seized during searches of the home.

IT WAS DETERMINED THAT A CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED IN THE HOUSE

It was reported that during the searches, special ultraviolet lights and active climate control systems suitable for cultivating cannabis were found in certain parts of the house. According to allegations, cannabis plants planted in pots were detected in the bathroom and various rooms.

It was noted that a narcotics detection dog named “Takip” was also used in the operation, and the dog helped locate the substances, which were reportedly hidden in drawers at a desk and in wardrobes.

AKAY BROTHERS TAKEN TO HOSPITAL

Detained Ezel Akay and Eren Kazım Akay were referred to İnegöl State Hospital to have blood and hair samples taken to determine whether they had used narcotic substances.

It was reported that Ezel Akay, noticing members of the press taking photos at the hospital entrance, reacted by saying, “Why are they taking pictures?”

It was reported that after the procedures at the hospital, the two brothers were taken to the gendarmerie station to have their statements taken. It was learned that the investigation is continuing under the coordination of the Bursa Provincial Gendarmerie Command and the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

On the other hand, it was reported that there were records in the past regarding Ezel Akay such as “issuing bad checks,” while no criminal record was found for Eren Kazım Akay.
