In the Melikgazi district of Kayseri, a person has come to the fore on allegations of stabbing and killing his father, with whom he lived in the same house. The suspect, who attempted suicide by taking medication after the incident, was taken to the hospital under police escort.
The incident occurred on the ground floor of an 8-story building on Battalgazi Boulevard in the Selçuklu neighborhood. According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between Süleyman Dirik and his son A.D. for an as-yet-unknown reason.
It was stated that as the argument escalated, A.D. stabbed his father, Süleyman Dirik. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address.
During the check performed by the medical teams, it was determined that Süleyman Dirik had lost his life. Police teams, who took security measures at the scene, conducted an investigation in the house and its surroundings.
A.D., who received initial intervention at the residence, was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Süleyman Dirik's body was taken to the Kayseri Group Presidency of the Council of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy following the investigations.
