It has been announced that there will be no interruption to Habertürk TV's broadcast schedule following the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) operation targeting Can Holding. While detention warrants were issued for the holding's executives, 121 companies were seized and trustees were appointed. Mehmet Akif Ersoy, Editor-in-Chief of Habertürk TV, which is part of Can Holding—a company seized by the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF)—has made significant statements following the operation.

In a statement on the social media platform X, Ersoy indicated that the operations of the media group and Doğa Colleges would continue without disruption. Ersoy stated, "We held a meeting with TMSF officials this morning regarding the new process. I would like to share this information so that our parents do not worry during this period when the academic year has begun. The workflow in our schools and our media group will continue in the same manner," he said.

OPERATION TARGETING CAN HOLDING

In the morning hours, a large-scale operation was conducted against Can Holding on charges of "establishing a criminal organization," "smuggling," "fraud," and "laundering assets derived from crime." Within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, detention warrants were issued for 10 people, including Mehmet Şakir Can, Kemal Can, and Kenan Tekdağ, who are among the holding's executives.

As part of the operation, 121 companies, including Habertürk and Show TV, were seized, and it was decided to appoint trustees to Can Holding.
