It was reported that Şaş, who did not provide his phone password to the police, shared the password with the prosecutor's office to help clarify the investigation.
I have not used drugs in any way, anywhere. I have not been in an environment where drugs were used. Because my phone contains information regarding my private life, I did not want to give my password at first, but I want my phone to be examined by providing the password for the sake of clarifying the investigation. I do not accept the charge of drug trafficking leveled against me.
It was stated that detention warrants were issued for 24 people in the morning as part of the investigation, and 21 of the suspects were taken into custody.
It was noted that among those detained were actors Aras Bulut İynemli, Melis Sezen, and Nilperi Şahinkaya, as well as former footballer Hasan Şaş, rapper Sefo, and journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu. Hasan Şaş was released under judicial control following his processing.
