The court panel sentenced Arabacı to 6 years in prison for "establishing and managing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes." Arabacı was given a total of 7 years and 6 months in prison for intentional injury offenses committed against two separate victims within the scope of his leadership of the organization.
In the verdict, a total of 2 years in prison was also imposed for the crime of carrying unlicensed firearms in connection with two separate armed assault incidents. Thus, the total sentence given to Arabacı became 15 years and 6 months. He was acquitted of the other charges for which he was being tried.
Coşkun Necati Arabacı was detained by teams from the Organized Crime Bureau upon his arrival at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport from Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, on October 5, 2025, and was subsequently arrested.
After being released for a period under judicial control, Arabacı was re-arrested following an objection by the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. An indictment had been prepared against Arabacı seeking up to 35 years in prison on charges of organization leadership, qualified extortion, aggravated intentional injury, and violation of the firearms law.
