HKP files criminal complaint against AKP figures: Cyprus is being lost to money laundering network
The People's Liberation Party (HKP) has filed a criminal complaint regarding the allegations made by Cemil Önal, who was involved in the financial structure of the criminal organization led by Halil Falyalı, who was murdered in Cyprus. The People's Liberation Party also requested that Cemil Önal be heard as a witness in the Netherlands and that at least five video cassettes, which are alleged to be in his possession and have not been handed over to the Republic of Turkey, be requested from the Netherlands and the USA.
The People's Liberation Party (HKP) has filed a criminal complaint against high-level political figures it claims are linked to the money laundering network of Halil Falyalı, a criminal organization leader operating in Cyprus.
HKP has applied to the judiciary with a request to launch an investigation into many AKP members, including President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, as well as former and current ministers, on charges of "Establishing an Organization for the Purpose of Committing Crimes," "Bribery," and "Misconduct in Office."
In the HKP's criminal complaint, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, former Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, former Vice President Fuat Oktay, former Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu, AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik, and former Adana Public Prosecutor Yavuz Pehlivan were also included as suspects.
The party also drew attention to an interview conducted by journalist Ayşemden Akın, published in the online newspaper Bugün Kıbrıs in the past, with Cemil Önal, who is alleged to have been involved in the financial structure of the Halil Falyalı criminal organization.
According to the HKP, the statements reflected in the public domain in this interview reveal the relationship between AKP figures and the money laundering network.
The People's Liberation Party also requested that Cemil Önal be heard as a witness in the Netherlands and that at least five video cassettes, which are alleged to be in his possession and have not been handed over to the Republic of Turkey, be requested from the Netherlands and the USA. It is alleged that the footage in question contains important evidence regarding the accusations.
In a statement made by the party, harsh criticisms were directed at the political power, stating, "We will not stop pursuing the organized crime organization for profit called the AKP-ites, who are still concerned with lining their pockets while handing over Cyprus to the US-EU imperialists and Greece right before our eyes."
HKP announced that they would follow up on the matter following the criminal complaint.
Kıbrıs santim santim elden giderken Halil Falyalı suç çetesinin kara parasından pay kapma yarışına giren başta Kaçak Saraylı Tayyip olmak üzere tüm AKP'giller avanesi hakkında suç duyurusunda bulunduk.
