A legal process has been initiated regarding certain statements made by influencer Mika Raun on social media platforms. According to the indictment, legal action was taken following allegations that Raun humiliated a specific segment of society based on differences such as social class and gender.
The indictment prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has been referred to the Istanbul 35th Criminal Court of First Instance. In the assessment made by the prosecutor's office, it was stated that some of the posts Raun made on social media did not remain within the bounds of personal opinion, but rather carried a derogatory nature toward a social group.
