The Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation following two separate complaints of fraud and threats initiated in Bakırköy and Küçükçekmece in Istanbul. The person complained about was Dionis Shaholli, a foreign national businessman engaged in international shipping in Istanbul. Shocking allegations regarding the businessman emerged during the investigation conducted at two different courthouses.

A SECOND NAME HAS EMERGED

In his initial statement to the Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, where he appeared to be of Albanian nationality, a Russian identity for Shaholli also surfaced. While an investigation is underway to determine whether the identity is fake, Shaholli stated in his testimony that he is also a citizen of Russia and that his name there is Khamzat Ismailov. Under questioning, Shaholli denied the fraud allegations. A judicial control decision was issued for Shaholli, who was brought before the court in Küçükçekmece.

THE COURT IN BAKIRKÖY ORDERED 'ARREST'

Released with a judicial control decision, Shaholli was this time taken to the Bakırköy Courthouse regarding the other accusation. In the prosecutor's office and court in Bakırköy, he claimed that he had an emotional relationship with the complainant, Ayşe S.Ö., and that he had given her the money he borrowed from her. He denied threatening Ayşe S.Ö. by phone. In this court, Shaholli also stated that he was a Russian citizen and also carried the name Khamzat Ismailov. The court in Bakırköy issued an arrest warrant for Shaholli, who was found with an identity document issued by the Russian Federation at his home.

ALLEGED TO BE AZERBAIJANI

During the questioning at the prosecutor's office and the hearing held in court, another shocking allegation emerged regarding Shaholli. According to the allegations, Shaholli was actually Azad Isayev, a businessman who was once wanted by Azerbaijan via Red Notice on charges of fraud. Shaholli denied these allegations at the prosecutor's office and in court. Shaholli said, "They used to call me Azad in my childhood. My name is also mentioned as Azad among the people I do business with, but I am not the Azerbaijani Azad Isayev."

HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH THE FAMOUS SINGER HAD BEEN ON THE AGENDA

The fact that Azerbaijani businessman Azad Isayev was once wanted by Azerbaijan via Red Notice had been covered in the public eye. Isayev, who had a Red Notice issued against him on fraud charges, had his relationship with the famous Azerbaijani singer Röya discussed in the country for days.

"HE LOOKS LIKE ME BUT IT IS NOT ME"

The court showed Shaholli the photo in the Red Notice found in the Interpol record, drawing attention to the resemblance. Shaholli said, "He looks like me, but it is not me. The person who complained about me may have caused me to be entered into the Interpol record in this way."

FINGERPRINTS WERE TAKEN

The fingerprints of Dionis Shaholli, who was arrested and sent to prison, were taken. Whether Shaholli is the Azerbaijani businessman Azad Isayev will be determined following correspondence with Azerbaijani authorities.
