Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç made a statement regarding the Law on Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code and Certain Other Laws, known publicly as the 8th Judicial Package.
In a post on his X account, Minister Tunç stated, "The Law on Amendments to the Criminal Procedure Code and Certain Other Laws, known as the 8th Judicial Package, which aims to increase the efficiency and speed of judicial services, expand the freedom to seek rights, ensure effective combat against crime, and protect personal data effectively, and which includes several important regulations, has been approved by our President and has entered into force by being published in the Official Gazette dated 12.03.2024 and numbered 32487."
