Mahinur Göktaş announced that she has filed a criminal complaint against Ümit Özlale, Cemal Enginyurt, and Ali Mahir Başarır due to the allegations made against her within the scope of the fund investigation.
In her statement, Göktaş stated that the allegations in question targeted her and her family, and said that she expects the individuals who put forward these claims to prove them.
Arguing that the allegations could not be proven, Göktaş stated, "I clearly said that if they cannot prove their allegations, they should resign. They did not resign."
Göktaş noted that she would also take legal action against media outlets that spread and reported the allegations on social media platforms. Arguing that freedom of the press cannot be a justification for slander and misleading the public, Göktaş noted that she would pursue legal, administrative, and criminal responsibilities.
