It was alleged that Emir Sarıgül, who is subject to a detention warrant in a money laundering and aggravated fraud investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, is in Ankara.
According to the claim, it was suggested that Sarıgül is staying at the Angora Houses in the Çankaya district of Ankara, which belongs to his father, CHP Erzincan MP Mustafa Sarıgül.
It was also claimed that police teams were waiting for Sarıgül to leave the residence.
Mustafa Sarıgül, however, denied the claims that his son is at his residence in Ankara.
Addressing the 100 million Euro claim regarding the investigation file, Sarıgül argued that a 100 Euro transaction was shown as 100 million Euro in the file.
Sarıgül also stated that he has been unable to reach his son, Emir Sarıgül.
In a post on his social media account, he reacted to the allegations.
We are facing an ugly smear campaign. We have been in public life for years and have no account that we cannot give.
