New application to the Constitutional Court from Tayfun Kahraman
Tayfun Kahraman has filed a second application following the non-implementation of the Constitutional Court's violation ruling.
Urban planner Tayfun Kahraman announced in a statement on social media that he has filed a second application to the Constitutional Court. Kahraman stated, "I chose to remain silent to the public due to the non-implementation of the Constitutional Court's violation ruling regarding my case. However, today, I would like to share that I have applied again for the implementation of the decision concerning me."
Kahraman's lawyer, Cansu Çiftçi, had applied to the Istanbul 14th High Criminal Court on November 7, requesting her client's release and retrial. However, the court rejected the objection regarding the non-compliance with the Constitutional Court's ruling. Following these developments, Kahraman has applied to the Constitutional Court once again to continue his legal struggle.
